La Voie Verte est un nouvel et extraordinaire chemin aménagé pour les piétons et cyclistes qui relie la France à Genève. Il permet de faire abstraction des usines à proximité et offre un environnement visuel plus apaisant et agréable à ceux qui l’emprunte.
En tant qu’artiste qui prend souvent ce passage, il me remémore le Highline de ma ville native, New York. Malheureusement, le Highline est devenu trop utilisé, néanmoins, la ville a fait un effort remarquable en promouvant les oeuvres d’art tout au long du Highline.
En tant que sculpteur, je désire embellir/ enjoliver ce chemin vert avec un bas relief grande taille (6 à 8m de long) et potentiellement d’autres projets.
En utilisant ma signature caractéristique d’animaux, cette fois-ci en différents modes de transposition, je verrais cela contre un des murs en béton qui longe la Voie Verte.
Pour information, je suis ouvert pour que d’autres artistes utilisent mon atelier et mon four si la ville de Genève, Annemasse, Ambilly ou Gaillard approuvent un ou plusieurs projets.

The Voie Verte Project

The Voie Verte is a new and extraordinary bicycle and pedestrian path that goes from France to Geneva (and vice versa). It bisects the urban fabric and offers a new quality of life and new views to everybody who takes it.

As an artist who takes this path often, I am reminded of the Highline from my native New York. Unfortunately, the Highline has become overused, however, the city has made an impressive effort embellishing the Highline with artwork all along its length.

As a sculptor it is my desire to embellish this green way with a large size bas-relief (6 to 8m long) and possibly other projects.

Using my characteristic signature of animals, this time in different modes of transportation, I would see this against one of the many concrete walls that align the Voie Verte.

In addition, I am open to have other artists use my atelier and my kiln if the City of Geneva, Annemasse, Ambilly or Gaillard agree upon one or several projects.
