Somali man selling balloons on Italian Beach (Approx. 1m60 x 1m15)

This sculpture in progress is a model and a proposal for the European Cultural Foundation, NGOs and other parties that may find it of interest.

On Italian beaches, like many beaches in Europe, people, mostly refugees, are selling balloons and accessories. The conditions are extremely hard and most of these people are exploited.

The idea is to raise awareness of this untenable situation and if not prohibit this activity, it should at least be made official so that their conditions would be more humane.
